About me
Hello! My name is Martha and I am an LPC licensed in the state of Texas. I have a Master of Science degree in Psychology from Texas Wesleyan University(2007). My experience in the mental health field is over 17 years consisting of case management, crisis intervention, counseling, psychiatric emergency room assessments and diagnosis. I would describe my counseling style as one of being caring, compassionate, trustworthy, genuine and ethical. My favorite therapeutic approaches are Person-centered and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and feel that they lend themselves well to helping with most issues. I believe that it's very important to allow you to learn and identify the skills you need to work on the issues you are experiencing throughout therapy sessions and long after therapy sessions end. My hope for you is that you will feel comfortable discussing any topics of concern and that you are able to gain the knowledge you need to help you through this time in your life.
I look forward to working with you and thank you for putting your trust in me!
