I recognize that individuals are unique and some of their experiences are complex. I am passionate about helping people and saving lives. I believe in treating people as individuals - recognizing that all people face unique challenges and have specific needs. I am an addiction specialist and a master level therapist. In general, I utilize a "Whole Person" approach that aims to heal the body, mind and spirit during the recovery process. Foremost, your treatment is tailored and individualized to your needs and preferences. As for my background, I have over 20 years of combined experienced working in the behavioral health field. I have experience working with various populations that include: Men, Women, Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault Victims, children, Active Military Personal and Veterans, Parolees/Probationers and families. I employ Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Client-Centered Therapy, Emotionally-Based Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy and Trauma-Focused clinical approaches.
